Vikings across Africa

I guess there IS some nordic genes in me. As there was a deeper reason living in Sweden and Denmark in the past years. Yesterday I made my official booking for Vikings across Africa and secured a seat on the 14-person truck traveling from Iceland to South Africa. Start will be in January and this trip is the second part of my WorldTrip.

Ahead this journey is my trip to Southeast Asia. As my booking for the flights was depending on the Vikings across Africa participation I can now book my flights for the banana pancake trail. Between these two trips I will be back to Germany for a short stopover I think as I have to pack different things: camping in winter time in Spain and South Africa needs some more gear than shorts and flipflops for Thailand.
And I think I will use the possibility to visit some parts of Portugal and Spain before heading to Malaga, the meeting point for all the Vikings. Maybe I can check out Lisbon for more than 2 hours like last time when I missed my connecting flight to Accra and was sent back to Germany early next morning...
